100% Offline & Private Guarantee: Path Flip executes completely on your device. We do not operate external tracking servers, analytics endpoints, or cloud databases. No network path, image, or clipboard data ever leaves your computer.
Path Flip requests only two browser permissions, both of which are strictly necessary to perform its advertised functions:
clipboardRead): When you open the extension popup or trigger a paste event, the extension inspects the clipboard to check if a network path or image is present. This data is handled strictly in memory and is immediately discarded when no longer in use. It is never uploaded or transmitted.
storage): We use chrome.storage.local to save your user preferences (such as the default server name and last opened tab), your saved prompt templates, and a local history of your last 200 conversions. All data remains exclusively inside your local browser profile.
We do not share, sell, lease, or distribute your data to any third parties. Path Flip does not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertisements, or tracking scripts.
You retain complete control over your stored data. Within the extension's History drawer, you can search, delete specific items, or click Clear all to wipe the entire conversion history instantly. Uninstalling the extension completely deletes all locally stored data.
Path Flip is fully compliant with Google Chrome Web Store Manifest V3 guidelines and the Single-Purpose policy. Its purpose is solely to convert network paths between macOS and Windows, manage prompt notes, and crop images.
